Boy, am I loving the sketch challenges from the Stamping 411 blog. It gets my creative juices flowing and into my stamp room. The design operators are very helpful and one just happens to be my fabulous upline, Selene Kempton :-)So, a good friend of mine has a birthday coming up. The Cheers to You stamp set is a perfect fit for him - we both love a good martini (or two)!! I started with Always Artichoke as my card layer and Baja Blue as my second layer. I ran the blue through my Big Shot using the Distressed Sizzix texture plate - I thought it looked manly. Then I used the Manchester Designer Series Paper and added some kraft ribbon. Oh - and I added some crystal effects to the "drink" part.
What do you think? When he receives the card, will I be invited to his house for a martini??
