A card for my Husband!

So I love to blog surf and when I came upon this card at Tiffany Bauer's blog, http://mycraftyworld.blogspot.com/2010/01/mature-kind-of-card.html I just HAD to make it for my husband. I dont know if I will give it to him for Valentine's day or his birthday. Hmmm. . . .

Another Sketch Challenge

I love Kraft and Chocolate Chip together. This is the first time I used the Medallion stamp set since I got it. I just love all the possibilities with that stamp. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday

So, my niece is turning 8 on Sunday. . . My how time flies. For her party invitations, she picked skull and crossbones (with pink) of course. I think she is growing up. So, when it came time to do her birthday card, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I am getting to like the distressed look (usually everything has to be neat and clean) but I thought I would do a little distressing on this card. I really like how it turned out. I am sure she will like it too. . .

Valentine's Day Treats

My son has a fabulous pediatrician. Her office staff is wonderful as well. I wanted to show my appreciation so I thought with Valentine's Day coming up, it might be nice to surprise them with some chocolate treats - with pretty packaging, of course :-)

The more the merrier

So, I was very excited to win the blog candy from the Stamping 411 website last week. I have been wanting that stamp set for a long time. When I saw this weeks sketch, I got very excited because I immediately knew what I was going to do. I had to flip the sketch but I think it works. I just love Rose Red and Black together. It really makes a statement. I colored Whisper White Organza ribbon with the Rose Red marker and I added crystal effects to the hearts. Hope you enjoy!

Jeepers, I was just looking through my blog, what little of it there is, and thought - my . . . I must get some more color into it. It seems that I just have "boy" cards with blues, tans, etc. So, here are some other cards I made with "girl" colors!!

Love you Much

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I wanted to make a special valentine for my hubby - one that was cute, but manly. I think I did it, what do you think??

I used some new stamp sets from Stampin Up, Fox and Friends and Well Scripted. I just love both of these sets - the fox is so darn cute and I just love the scripting in the sentiment.
